The SMD-Pick and Place process is the most time-critical procedure within the scope of the complete production line. Quantitatively we cover the range from preliminary prototype productions, small and medium series up to large-scale production. Qualitatively our SMD equipment allows the placement of simple components up to ultra-fine-pitch, BGAs and odd-forms.

This overall product range is divided into five basic areas:
1. The systems LM 900 and LM 901 are the worldwide most usual manual Pick and Place systems in the SMD production. As the global market leader we can look back on twenty years of experience. This manual Pick and Place machines are especially appropriate to the assembly of prototypes and small series.
2. The semi-automatic Pick and Place system range SM 902 relieves the operator with PC-controlled placing and insures hundred percent correct placement.
3. Our placer LM 904 is a two-arm-system. Useful for SMD Pick and Placement as well as Fine-Pitch placement.
4. Our µPlacer offers selektive Pick and Place, particularly for post-placement of single components and high complex circuitries like Ultra-Fine-Pitch components.
